Aili E. Haveri

CAMBRIDGE -- Aili E. Haveri, 89, Cambridge and formerly of Aitkin and Mora, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at the Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge.

She was born May 26, 1912, in Crosby to Matt and Sandra (Lajhaviiki) Rautio. She grew up and attended schools in Crosby and later lived in Deerwood. She married Henry Haveri on May 19, 1945, in Brainerd. They lived in Nordland and Spencer townships in Aitkin County. They moved into Aitkin in 1985. Her husband died in 1985. She moved to rural Mora in 1987 and lived with her daughter June and her family. In 1998, she moved to the Villa Health Care Center in Mora and in 1999 moved to the Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge.

Survivors include two daughters, Ellen Everson, Cambridge, and June Heitke, Mora; and four grandchildren.

Two brothers, Hugo and Ernest, died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin with the Rev. Lance Isaacson officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery near Aitkin.

Friends may call from noon until the service hour Thursday at the funeral home.
