Two arrested Two men were arrested about 6 p.m. Sunday night for transporting several pounds of marijuana in a motor vehicle about two miles east of Brainerd, the State Patrol reported.
The arrests took place on Highway 18. A State Trooper stopped a vehicle for a minor speed violation and eventually discovered the drug violations. The State Patrol confiscated a 1999 F350 truck and several handguns in the incident as well.
Names of the individuals were not released pending formal charges. The incident is under investigation by the State Patrol.
