Nokken, Huskies win in OT

PILLAGER - Sean Nokken pounded it in from a yard out and converted the two-point conversion in overtime lifting the Pillager Huskies to a 36-34 overtime win Tuesday over New York Mills.

Nokken totaled 15 carries for 132 yards, including touchdown runs from 15 and his game-winning attempt from the one.

Nokken added seven catches for 72 yards and a pair of touchdown catches from 10 and 6 yards out.

Highlighted by a 50-yard run to send the game to overtime, Jordan Hunstad added 14 carries for 72 yards and one touchdown and converted 11 of 20 pass attempts for 151 yards and two touchdowns.

Cole Hunstad added three catches for 72 yards as Pillager improved to 2-6 overall and 2-2 in the Prairie North Conference.
