I was born, raised and lived on a farm in Todd County and at age 20 went to Minneapolis and became employed at a meat packing plant (United Dressed Beef). I became president of the company prior to my resignation. After a few years I resigned and moved back to Todd County where we bought a farm, where we are presently living.

I push for integrity, honesty, accountability and have fought diligently for all constituents. I'm not afraid to take a stand for what I believe is right. When I make a mistake I admit it, accept it and learn from it. I'm approachable, patient, kind, diplomatic and can be trusted. A handshake still means something. I have worked hard to bring stability and accountability back to Todd County, using common sense and looking toward the future.
