Why are you the best candidate for Wadena County Commissioner District 2?
I come to this position to represent the taxpayers of Wadena County and make sure they know the truth about how their tax dollars are being spent. I want to preserve our rural, agricultural heritage, which will enhance the growth and property of our downtown businesses. I will bring common sense and the ability to stand firm in the face of adversity. There's a difference between the county's needs and the wants of department heads.
Occupation: Retired, middle and high school principal.
Education: Bachelor of science degree, agricultural education, University of Minnesota; master of science degree, agricultural education, University of Minnesota; specialist, public school administration, University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Why you are the best candidate for Wadena County Commissioner, District 2?
I have retired after a 40-year career in education as an agriculture instructor and administrator and have always lived in Wadena County. As a school administrator I believe I have had the exposure and training in the areas necessary to be a positive county commissioner. Living within a balanced budget, managing personnel, developing policy, influencing legislation and representing constituents in county services are responsibilities that I feel I can offer.
