Pirates finish regular season 7-1

GRACEVILLE -- Tom Adamietz rushed for three touchdowns and 128 yards on just 10 carries lifting the Verndale Pirates past Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 49-14 in non-conference football Wednesday.

The Pirates received three touchdown passes from Isaac Johnson to finish 7-1 on the season. Johnson finished 9-of-18 passing for 116 yards. He connected with Tyler Fisher for a 15-yard touchdown, Nathan Runyan on a 5-yard score and Andy Bramer on a 47-yard touchdown pass.
