Lydeen helps Patriots to 2nd place in cross country

PARK RAPIDS - Silas Lydeen finished sixth as the Pequot Lakes Patriots boys' team claimed second place in the Park Rapids Invite Monday.

Jerrod Braam, 15th, and Adison Runberg, 18th, also finished in the top 20 for the Patriot boys.

Kylie Beltz, in 19th place, paced the Pequot girls' team, which was sixth.

Neil Janson finished 17th for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverine boys, who finished ninth.

Hannah Toedter and Mary McGrane were the only female representatives for the Wolverine girls' team.
