ONAMIA - James Hill Jr., 69-year-old resident of Onamia, Minn., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at the Mille Lacs Hospital in Onamia, Minn. A funeral ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation with Lee Staples officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation. Burial will be in Little Flower Mission Cemetery in Vineland, Minn. Arrangements are with the Shelley Funeral Chapel of Onamia.
