Thai Cultural Day

Pinchat Chatpaitoon (top) and Nutthanit Towan, Central Lakes College students from Thailand, danced during the college's first-ever Thai Cultural Day event Thursday on the Brainerd campus. The 80-member International Club sponsored the event, which offered about 300 free cream cheese won tons. Tables held displays of Thai art, books and cultural highlights. The two students presented a brief overview of their country and answered questions from the audience. They also recruited several members of the audience to join in a dance. Door prizes included T-shirts and gift items.
