CROSBY -- Belva Leone Rappana, age 89, of Crosby, died on Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on March 28, 1914, in Eden Prairie to Frank and Viola (Driver) Roach. She moved to Crosby at 4 years of age. She married Eddy Rappana on June 15, 1935. She was a member of Crosby-Ironton Presbyterian Church in Crosby.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Joyce Lehrke of Fridley, and Judy and Donald Adams of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Betty Matthews of Elk River; special niece, Theona Roach Brandel; special friends, Shirley Roach and Dick Zalusky; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Eddy, four brothers, Halley, Glen, Kenneth and Marvel Roach, a sister, Doris Storbach, special nephew Jack Roach, and son-in-law, Don Lehrke.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Crosby-Ironton Presbyterian Church in Crosby with the Rev. Robert Munneke officiating. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call on Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. If so desired memorials preferred to Hallett Cottages.
