North Long Lake bass are still providing plenty of action for interested anglers. Marv Koep, Roger Miller and Al Barnum, all of Nisswa, hooked a string in eight to 12 feet of water.

Final plans for remodeling the Brainerd Library were ordered drawn by city council. The total cost of the project is estimated at $29,106. The federal government will pay half.
