Man killed in rollover

GARRISON - One person was killed in a single-vehicle rollover Sunday morning on Highway 18, about two miles west of Garrison, the State Patrol reported.
The victim, Ronald L. Frutiger, 51, Little Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened about 7:55 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle, a 1998 Ford Taurus, was westbound on Highway 18 when it went off the road, hit a tree and rolled, the State Patrol reported.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene. The Garrison Fire Department also responded.
