Brainerd doubles team advances in section

DAYTON -- The Brainerd Warriors doubles team of Megan Steiger and Megan Whalen won its match in the Section 8, Class 2A tennis tournament Tuesday.
Whalen-Steiger defeated Britt Pennington-Kelly Pearson of St. Cloud Tech 6-3, 6-4.
Whalen-Steiger were scheduled to play in the semifinals at 9 a.m. today. Win or lose, they played another match at 11:30 a.m.
