PILLAGER -- Pillager School District invites all 3-1/2- to 5-year-old children in the district to participate in Early Childhood Developmental Screening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 22 at the First Baptist Church in Pillager.
This screening helps parents monitor their child's health and developmental growth. It connects children and families to resources in the community that promote developmental skills and wellness.
Contact the school as soon as possible to schedule an appointment with Meg Nygren, health coordinator and nurse, at 218-746-3557, ext. 204. Participants will then receive the necessary forms and confirmation of the appointment in the mail.
Attending Early Childhood Developmental Screening is required by law prior to the child's entrance to kindergarten, regardless of which public school the child will attend in Minnesota.
