Bruce M. Anderson

BIGFORK -- Bruce M. Anderson, 49, Bigfork, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at his home.

He was born Feb. 10, 1953, in Brainerd to Marvin and Grace (Abrahamson) Anderson. He attended school in Brainerd and graduated from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. He married Marlene Johnson on Sept. 16, 1973. They lived in Bigfork, where he was an elementary teacher for the past 26 years.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Joshua, Bigfork, Isaac, Samuel and Micah, at home; his parents, Brainerd; and four sisters, Bonnie Fornshell, Bloomington, Linda Laumann, Cameron, Wis., Pam Herder, Brainerd, and Chris Rieke, Rochester.

An infant twin son died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at Bigfork High School.

Arrangements are with the Libbey Funeral Home in Grand Rapids.
