CROSSLAKE -- Mark C. Pearson, 60, Crosslake, died Oct. 15, 2002, at his home.
He was born April 4, 1942, in Blue Earth to Rodney and Mabel (Gesche) Pearson. He attended school in Blue Earth. He served in the Army from 1963-1965. He moved with his family to Crosslake in 1981. He owned his own backhoe service. He married Roselyn Brandt on March 24, 1990, in Pequot Lakes. He was a member of the Crosslake Lutheran Church, the American Legion Post No. 89 in Blue Earth and the Laker's Car Club of Pequot Lakes.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Shawn Pearson-Humphrey, Crosslake, and Nicole Blasing, Fishers, Ind.; a step-daughter, Holly Brandt, St. Cloud; four brothers, Clair Pearson, Wells, Larry Pearson, Albert Lea, Vernal Pearson, Pine River, and Merle Pearson, Blue Earth; and two grandchildren.
His parents; an infant daughter, Dana Sue; a sister, Irene; and three brothers, Reed, Leland and Myron, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Crosslake Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating with military honors provided by the Crosslake American Legion. Burial will be Oct. 21 in Blue Earth.
Friends may call one hour before services at the church Saturday.
