CLC volleyball reaches 20-win mark

Central Lakes College sophomore Lisa Kurtz had 21 set assists, 14 digs,seven kills and an ace to help lead the Raiders' volleyball team to its 20th victory of the season by beating Rainy River Saturday.

Sophomore Jill Wizik added 22 set assists, freshman Rachel Voeltz 12 kills, freshman Shayna Foote 11 kills and 10 digs, Krista Meyer 12 kills and 14 digs, and sophomore Heather Kapinos 29 digs.

The victory brings the Raiders' record to 20-5 on the season and keeps them a perfect 11-0 in MCCC Northern Division play.
