Ruth M. Hyland

HACKENSACK -- Ruth M. Hyland, 92, of Hackensack, passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. She was born Dec. 21, 1912, in Whitby Island, Wash., to Charles and Karen Green. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Mary Parrish, of Hackensack; two sons, John Hyland of Lewisburg, Kan., and Gary Hyland of Hackensack; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Floyd, and one son, William, died earlier.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, from 1-4 p.m. at the home of Mary Parrish in Hackensack. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home in Pine River.
