Robert E. Engelhart

TACOMA, Wash. -- Robert E. (Bob) Engelhart died Oct. 8, 2005, in Tacoma, Wash., at 76 years of age.

Bob was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Brainerd, the son of William and Hazel (Glidden) Engelhart.

He married Gladys LeDoux in Brainerd in 1946. They moved to Tacoma, Wash., in 1950, where he worked for civil service at McCord AFB from 1951 until his retirement in 1981.

Surviving are his sisters, Vera Gallant of Brainerd, and Doris Hollinsworth of Puyallup, Wash. Also his faithful dog, Goofy.

He leaves sons, Daniel (Denise ) and Lester (Jackie) Engelhart and daughters, Linda (Sherman) Larry Bond, Marilyn Corlett, and Crystal Englehart Malang; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers, Clifford, John and Jim. Interment was at the Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup, Wash.
