Does "redefining the institution of marriage...destroy the concept of marriage completely?" An Oct. 5 Forum letter says it would "afford equal rights, regardless of sex," because "all homosexuals want is the right to have and protect property rights...."
These statements illustrate how the homosexual agenda proceeds under the guise of making homosexuals the victims of "bigoted" (note his namecalling) unAmericans who want to deprive them of some so-called "rights" to live sexually perverted lives. "The Homosexual Agenda" by Sears and Osten exposes the homosexual agenda formulated in 1989 in the book "After the Ball." In a conference in London in 1999, homosexual activists admitted they aren't really interested in marriage, but in its destruction. Once they get marriage accepted for homosexuals, they want to redefine it as "monogamy without fidelity." In their words, "We can now dethrone the (traditional) family based on a blood relationship, in favor of the families that we choose." "We need to fight for same-sex marriage and its benefits. Once granted, (we need to) redefine the institution of marriage completely (and) debunk a myth and radically alter an archaic institution. The most subversive action that gay men and lesbians can undertake, is to transform the notion of family entirely."
Is Traditional Values Coalition "bigoted" in opposing/exposing the homosexual agenda?
I think not!
Why should I care whether "a homosexual can provide health coverage to a
partner?"
Because the homosexual juggernaut is trying to destroy the very foundation of sane natural law -- the family, made up of one man and one woman -- that has existed since the beginning of civilization. When a society has strayed from the sexual ethic of marriage, it deteriorates and eventually disintegrates (Univen, "Sexual Regulations and Human Behavior").
Is there a Homosexual Agenda? You better believe it!

Brainerd at a crossroads
Wal-Mart was a no-brainer. They sent lawyers, home office suits, big promoters, everyone except one of the kids. Who, by the way, are each worth over $20 billion each. They won from the start, good fight Baxter residents. I worked for Kmart as a manager in the late 70s, early 80s and they bought stores on opposite corners to keep out competition. Now they are bankrupt.
One more thing, would you give up millions in sales, taxes, tourist, traffic, pollution (minor), jobs, even low-paying ones, and a white elephant? By the way, it can be painted brown and green to look up northy I'm sure. At least one person made money, "Amen."
Brainerd is at a crossroads and needs to do something. Whatever happened to the idea of a hotel/convention center downtown, or am I wrong? We do not need any more parking lots, 'Amen'. What about a three- or four-story specialty shopping center, different shops at every level and something for kids! Gee, and none of this is Big Box!
Do we even have a person or a research team looking at other cities for ideas? Or are we just in our own little boat?
We have good people in this city. Our City Council needs to stop arguing, back biting, sending secret memos, yelling at each other, and get on with it.
Our children are watching. They are the future of this town. Maybe we should ask them? We need to set an example. I would be embarrassed and ashamed of the behavior so far. I think the people of Brainerd are due an apology on TV.
Have a council meeting on TV, get everyone together and shake hands and promise the people who elected you, you're going to make good sound choices and work for them. "Amen."
P.S. There is no I in teamwork.
