Warrior girls end season with loss to Tech

ST.CLOUD -- It was anybody's game for the first 23 minutes but the Brainerd Warriors could not keep up Saturday as they lost to the St. Cloud Tech Tigers 4-0 in Section 8AA girls' soccer quarterfinal action.

The Warriors were outshot 20-4. Brainerd keeper Kate Bjornson came up with 16 saves.

Warriors coach George Kohan said Brainerd "started playing much better toward the end of the game, and even took it to them for a while."
