MAPLE LAKE - Mariah Hoheisel clocked a time of 16:51 to take first place and lead the Pierz girls' cross country team to a first-place finish in the Central Minnesota Conference meet Tuesday.
All five Pioneer runners recorded top-10 times. Sonya Theis finished second with a time of 17:00 while Tracy Wimmer was fourth, Rachel Detschman ninth and Megan Hoheisel 10th.
The Pierz boys' team took fourth and was led by Jake Poster's 11th-place finish.
