PINE RIVER - The Sustainable Farming Association of Central Minnesota is hosting an apple harvest workshop as part of its 100 Orchards Project. The workshop will be 1-4 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Hunt Utilities Group Campus at 2331 Dancing Wind Road in Pine River.
Participants will learn how to store apples, make apple cider, make applesauce, dry apples and discover other exciting and delicious ways to use all of those wonderful apples from this year's harvest.
