Legislative debates scheduled next week

Candidates in four legislative districts will participate in televised debates on Lakeland Public Television next week.

Three debates for districts 11B, 12B and 12A will be taped Monday.

The broadcast schedule for those debates is:

* District 12A -- 7 p.m. Monday (live), Larry Anderson (Independence), Paul Gazelka (GOP) and Don Samuelson (DFL).

* District 11B -- 7 p.m. Tuesday, Marlene Clark (GOP) and Rep. Mary Ellen Otremba (DFL).

* District 12B -- 7 p.m. Wednesday, Al Doty (Independence), Bob Keeton (DFL) and Rep. Greg Blaine (GOP).

A fourth debate for District 3B will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. Oct. 25. The candidates are Douglas Aitken (GOP) and Rep. Loren Solberg (DFL).
