Ruth M. (Hawk) Onsted

PINE RIVER -- Ruth M. (Hawk) Onsted, 82, Pine River, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at home.

She was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Minneapolis to Andrew and Fanny (Lunde) Arhaug. She worked as a volunteer coordinator for St. Barnabus Hospital in Minneapolis.

Survivors include her husband, Orville; a daughter, Peggy Booten, Little Falls; five grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Hanson, Santa Rosa, Calif.

Her first husband, Joe Hawk, a son, Ron, and a sister, Dagney Morrison, died earlier.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River with Pastor John Twiton officiating. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.

Friends may call an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
