Involvement in community: "For the past five months I helped at the (Lakes Area Senior Activity Center) on Thursdays to help with the doughnuts. I'm here at 5 a.m. and usually done around 10 ... I love it. I always frost the doughnuts."

Favorite senior center doughnut: "I like the white doughnuts with the cream cheese frosting. We also have a new one that is really good. It's a white doughnut with cream cheese frosting and it's dipped in chocolate. It's a good seller."
Hobbies: "Sewing. I do hardanger embroidery, cross stitch and I knit prayer shawls for my church ... I stay pretty active. I like to go to dances and play bingo."
If you were an animal, which one would you be: "A bear because they can be growly once in awhile."
Family: Three daughters and she has grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Traits you value in your friends: "Confidentiality, kindness and the biggest thing is they are there when you need them."
Your biggest dream: "To travel to Ireland."
One of your favorite movies: "Mamma Mia."
