Alice M. Seguin

DEERWOOD - Alice Marie Seguin, age 71, of Deerwood, died Oct. 11, 2008, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

She was born on July 7, 1937, in Mission Township to Jesse and Hettie (Amos) VanHorn. She married John Arthur Seguin on March 10, 1956, in Ironton.

She is survived by one son, Daniel (Colleen Russell) Seguin of Deerwood; three daughters, Cindy (John Roggenkamp) Hammond of Ironton, Becky (Mike Bock) Buchite of Brainerd and Carla Seguin of Ironton; two brothers, Roy (Virgie) VanHorn of Aitkin and Jerry (Lucy) VanHorn of Crosby; two sisters, Hazel Wysong of Wisilla, Alaska, and Rose Mary Vadner of Ellsworth, Wis.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; three brothers, Jesse Jr., Lee and Richard VanHorn; and one sister, Emma Kuehn.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Friday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
