On strike

Mack and Leick said they have been manning their post in all weather conditions since the strike began.

 

Striker Jim Leick waved to a passing motorist near Central Lakes College on Thursday. Many motorists honked and waved in support of the strikers.

Dan Wilm walked the strike line at the Minnesota DNR building entrance Thursday. State government's two largest unions -- Council 6 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees -- have been on strike since Oct. 1.
