Larry A. Orth

BACKUS -- Larry A. Orth, 66, of Backus, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was born Aug. 3, 1939, in Wells, Minn., (Faribault County) to Ora and Maurine (Peterson) Orth.

He is survived by wife, Mary; son, Lynn Orth (Lynn), of Backus; three grandchildren, Jason, Patty and Kurtis; five brothers, Donald, of Backus, Vernon, of Nisswa, Marlin, of Pine River, Jerry, of Pine River, and Michael, of Pine River; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

His parents and two brothers, Leroy and Ronnie, died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at First Lutheran Church in Pine River with Pastor John Twiton officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Pine River. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River and one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
