Humphrey Center diorama

Posted: Wednesday, October 12, 2005

The Phase 2 diorama at the Skone Family Conservatory housing the Humphrey Center for American Indian Studies has been installed at Central Lakes College in Brainerd.

Descriptive plaques were to be added in the scene that features likenesses of a male and female in traditional Ojibwe attire. The final phase of this resource center will add a backdrop to a scene featuring a birch bark canoe and explanation of cultural activity that is centered around the natural world.

The Humphrey Center is near the library and accessed through that area. It is open daily during regular library hours and available for educational purposes and visits by the general public.
