PR-B gathers up Drakes

PINE RIVER -- The Pine River-Backus Tigers ended homecoming week with a 53-8 victory over the Blackduck Drakes in North Star Conference football Friday.
Scoring touchdowns for PR-B were Joe Whittemore, Luke Grindahl, Gary Anderson, Allen Anderson, and Doug Hamilton.
Conference -- PRB 3-3. Overall -- PRB 4-3. Next game -- PRB at Clearbrook-Gonvick 7 p.m. Wednesday.
