WALKER - The following appeared recently in Cass County District Court:

Melvin Eugene Brown, 29, Moorhead, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor obstructing the legal process or arrest to 11 days jail and placed on two years supervised probation.

Stephen Edward Wentling, 45, Backus, was sentenced for felony first-degree controlled substance crime (sale) to 48 months prison, with credit for 146 days already served.

Shawn Christopher Dotseth, 37, Brainerd, was ordered to serve 60 days jail for violating probation he is serving for felony issuing a worthless check, with credit for 50 days already served.
