Tyner, Warrior boys win at Tech

ST. CLOUD - Justin Tyner was the leader of the pack once again with a winning time of 16:17 as the Brainerd Warrior boys' cross country team blew away the competition Tuesday at the St. Cloud Tech Invitational.

Tyler Rose finished fourth in the boys' meet and Thomas Ruttger was seventh. Luke Delaney earned an eighth-place finish and Mitch Lorenz rounded out the top 10 for the Warriors.

Brainerd's Hannah McAllister placed second in the girls' race with a time of 15:19 but the Warrior girls did not field enough runners and finished with an incomplete score.

Justin Tyner won with a time of 16:17

Courtney Wing was the other top Warrior girls' finisher in 12th place.

John Dunlap placed 22nd as the Little Falls boys' team finished seventh.

Manon Gammon-Deering led the Flyer girls in 21st place. Beth Hauer was 22nd.
