Fisher runs wild over Wolverines

GRACEVILLE -- Verndale's Tyler Fisher rushed 15 times for 234 yards and three touchdowns in the Pirates' 42-0 victory over the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines in Pheasant Conference football action Friday.

Tyler Fuller scored on a 12-yard scamper in the second quarter. Cory Umland and Tom Adamietz each scored on touchdown runs in the second half for Verndale.

Isaac Johnson contributed some outstanding special teams play for the Pirates with four punt returns for a total of 110 yards.
