Raiders round up 3-1 victory

CLOQUET - Kirstie Grill tallied 14 kills and six blocks leading the Central Lakes College Raiders to a 3-1 Northern Division defeat of Fond Du Lac Friday.

Eric Feldewerd knocked down 14 kills and Rachel Pfeffer added 28 set assists to help the Raiders keep their share of the division lead.

"Fond Du Lac has improved," said Raiders head coach Jane Peterson. "We' re working on being consistent. We need to figure things out soon, because we are coming to the playoffs.

"Kirstie had a good night and blocked effectively. As a team we served well for the second time. If we keep that up we will do well."
