Pequot keeps rolling for 5th straight win

PARK RAPIDS - Class 3A's 10th-ranked Pequot Lakes Patriots had to battle both the Park Rapids Panthers and the elements as heavy snow started falling during the second quarter of Friday's Heart O'Lakes Conference matchup.
Neither could slow the hot Patriots, who won their fifth straight with a 39-8 win over the Panthers.
Pequot Lakes improves to 5-1 overall and in the conference. The Patriots will look to extend its winning streak to six games when they travel to Roseau Thursday.
