The writer from Deerwood must be a little behind on his news reading ("Greenspan's take on Iraq"). Alan Greenspan clarified what he really meant about the role of Iraq's oil in our decision to go to war in a Sept. 17 article published in the Washington Post (WP) ("Greenspan: Ouster of Hussein Crucial for Oil Security.")

As a hard-working citizen who needs to stay within a budget no matter how much my expenses go up (gas, groceries, taxes), I've learned many things about what are needs versus wants, not to mention how to shop smarter.
