Flyers teams both fourth

PERHAM - Ricky Devine and Manon Gammon-Deering led the Little Falls Flyers boys' and girls' teams to fourth-place finishes in the Perham Harrier Classic Thursday.

Gammon-Deering finished third for the girls 10 seconds behind individual winner Maddie McClellan of Perham. Devine was 14th with a 17:13.81.

The Wadena-Deer Creek boys finished 11th led by Neil Janson (33rd), while Hannah Toedter (30th) was the top finisher for the Wolverine girls.

Pierz girls second at Foley

FOLEY - Sonya Theis and Mariah Hoheisel were both in the top 10, pacing the Pierz Pioneers to a second-place finish in Thursday's Foley Invite.

The Pierz boys' team, led by Jake Poster's 19th-place time of 19:08.02, finisehd sixth.

The top five Pierz girls finished in the top 20 as Theis finished eixth and Mariah Hoheisel placed ninth followed by Megan Hoheisel in 12th, Rachel Detchman in 13th and Tracy Wimmer in 14th.

Boys' team scores: 1-Mora 31, 2-Milaca 53, 3-Princeton 85, 4-Royalton 94, 5-Foley 117, 6-Pierz 134

Individual winner: 1-Austin Bauer (Mil) 16:20.36
