Mikinziee Salo won her No. 2 singles match with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 as the Brainerd Warriors went on to defeat the Sartell Sabres 7-0 Thursday to finish the regular season 8-1 in the Central Lakes Conference and 12-1 overall.

"Everybody played well," Warriors coach Ellen Fussy said. "The girls brought up their game, which is good because we need to be ready when we go to subsections on Tuesday."

Briana Rademacher needed three sets to win at No. 3 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Zoe Houle-Kayla Kraemer withstood a first set tie-breaker to win in two sets.

With St. Cloud Tech's win over Alexandria Wednesday, the Warriors finished second in the conference, breaking a three-year streak of dominance.
