Rudy Vuchetich, 88, has had several jobs during his lifetime, but being a honey farmer is probably the sweetest one of all.

30 years ago (1972)

All senior citizens living in the Brainerd School District will be able to take in all school activities free of charge in the future as the result of board action last night.

40 years ago (1962)

Carole Johnson, Washington High School senior, was crowned homecoming queen for 1962. Miss Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin F. Johnson, 1503 Pennsylvania, Brainerd.

60 years ago (1942)

Brainerd Police last night were asked to join in a nationwide search for four convicts who escaped the Illinois State Prison at Joliet late Friday afternoon and were reported to be headed north.

80 years ago (1922)
