Five people injured in car-deer-bus crash

ELYSIAN (AP) -- Five people were injured when a car struck a deer, and the impact threw the animal through the windshield of a passing bus.

The State Patrol said a Nevada man struck the deer with his car while eastbound on Minnesota Highway 60 near Elysian, east of Mankato, about 3 p.m. Friday. The impact sent the deer crashing through the windshield of the bus. Five women were treated.
