Homecoming week in Pilager

PILLAGER -- Pillager High School is celebrating homecoming this week.

Today is hat day. Students will meet the homecoming candidates and have team competition -- relay, pop the banana slam, pass the card and pass the orange. Coronation will be at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday is lumberjack or flannel day.

Wednesday is toga or pajama day. Competitions played this day are the plexiglass lick, balloon bust/grab bag gobble and balloon shave. Prizes for Monday and Tuesday dress-up days will be awarded.

The football and volleyball teams will also compete against each other.

Thursday is camouflage day.

Friday is spirit day, where students wear maroon and gold.

The homecoming parade-pep fest will be at 2:15 p.m. on Cedar Street. The football and volleyball captains and the cheerleaders will be introduced. A class cheer contest will be held and prizes for Wednesday and Thursday will be awarded.

The homecoming football game will be at 7:30 p.m. and winners of the float contest will be announced. The homecoming dance will be at 9 p.m.
