Albert W. Laughton

CROSBY -- Albert Wesley Laughton, 90, Crosby, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.

He was born Aug. 28, 1913, to George W. and Ella (Ekholm) Laughton Sr. in Brainerd.

He is survived by his sons, Albert "Jay" Laughton, Portland, Ore., and James Laughton, Pueblo West, Colo.; daughter, Shirley Rosenberg, Portland, Ore.; brothers George Laughton Jr., Crosby, Edgar Laughton, Rochester, and Joseph Laughton, Rochester; sisters, Shirley Evans, Crosby, Virginia Torgerson, Crosby, Margie Horner, Deerwood, Evelyn Saumier, Ironton, Lillian Roxberg, Ironton, and Ruthie James, Crosby; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with the Rev. Father Howard Eisel officiating.

Arrangements are with Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
