Running back Michael Iverson of Central Lakes College has been named the offensive player of the week in the Southern Division of the MCAC.
Iverson, a freshman from St. Cloud Apollo, had 155 total yards, including 92 yards on kick returns.
After dropping out of the NJCAA/JC Football.com poll last week, CLC is ranked 16th this week following a 19-13 overtime victory at Fergus Falls last week. The Raiders host Minnesota West at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Hamilton libero of week in MCAC
Krystle Hamilton of Central Lakes College has been named the libero of the week in the Northern Division of the MCAC.
Hamilton, a sophomore from Backus, had 57 digs for a 4.7 digs per game average last week for the Raiders.
Conference honors Flyers
The Central Lakes Conference has honored four Little Falls Flyers as performers of the week ending Oct. 3.
Football: Travis Storzinger had 9.5 tackles, two sacks and three tackles for a loss.
Boys' soccer: Keeper Dan Kornbaum had shutout wins against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley and Sartell.
Girls' swimming: Stephanie Stumpf swam her lifetime best time (5:49) in the 500 free.
Volleyball: Breanna Arndt, had nine kills and was 20 of 21 serving with one ace.
JV tennis wins nine
The Brainerd Warrior junior varsity girls' tennis team won four singles and five doubles matches Monday against Rocori.
Singles winners were Morgan Steffen, Brittney Bostrom, Jackie Thurlow and Reah Williams.
Doubles winners were the teams of Julie Ashburn-Reah Williams, Lauren Rud-Kylie Halverson, Morgan Steffen-Brittney Bostrom, Heather Johnson-Morgan Steffen and Maiah Maki-Diana Fellman.
