At risk for flu

People 65 years of age and older.

People living in nursing homes or other long-term care facilities.

People with chronic health problems.

Pregnant women.

Children and teenagers who are on aspirin therapy.

Infants 6 to 23 months.

Only health care workers who provide direct patient care.

People who live in the same household with children under 6 months of age or who provide care to children under 6 months of age outside the home. People living in nursing homes or other long-term care facilities.

The shortage of vaccine has additional ramifications for Minnesota people.

Nationwide, flu shot clinics are being canceled.
