Health care solutions to be forum topic

Finding solutions for the region's health care worker shortage in central Minnesota is the topic of a regional forum set from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 19 in the cafeteria at Central Lakes College.

The agenda is being planned by the Minnesota Health Professions Workforce Partnership. Brainerd is one of five sites selected for a regional forums.

In addition, a meeting with the representatives of the University of Minnesota Academic Health Center is set from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Ramada Inn, formerly the Holiday Inn.

Topics include a variety of health care industry issues. The event is sponsored by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and the Brainerd Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce.
