Eagles end Warriors' unbeaten streak

ST. CLOUD - The Brainerd Warriors saw their seven-game unbeaten streak come to a close when St. Cloud Apollo's Hamse Abdule broke the 0-0 deadlock during the extra period to down the Brainerd Warriors 1-0 in Monday's Central Lakes Conference game.

"We had a lot of shots that went on net," Warriors coach Cahil Collins said. "We outplayed them. They just finished better than we did."

The Warriors outshot the Eagles 14-5, but failed to get one past the Eagles' keepers.
