BHS students to attend college fair Wednesday

Brainerd High School juniors and seniors will not have scheduled classes on Wednesday so they can attend the Minnesota College Fair at Central Lakes College in Brainerd.

The college fair will be from 9-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at CLC and all juniors and seniors are expected to attend in order to find information regarding post-high school programs for career planning. Dozens of colleges, universities and other post-high school programs will be on display for students to review and seek out information. BHS students are expected to check in at the BHS table and pick up an information sheet to fill out and return when they leave the fair.

Because it also is an early release day in the school district and BHS students are released at 1:10 p.m., the juniors and seniors are not scheduled to return to school.

All sophomores will take the PLAN test in order to identify areas of strength and interest in preparing for high school coursework and post-high school planning. Sophomores will be released from school at 1:10 p.m.
