Dale A. Johnson

NISSWA - Dale A. Johnson, 76, of Nisswa died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minn.

A prayer services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Pastor Rory Swenson officiating. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley, Minn.

Dale was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Shelburne Township, Minn., the son of Eric and Bertha (Rasmussen) Johnson. He worked as a small engine mechanic for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his children, Erick Johnson of Alaska and Dale M. Johnson of Nevada; his brother, Malcolm Johnson of Mankato, Minn.; and his special dog, Princess.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
