Warriors win twice in St. Cloud

Brainerd defeated St. Cloud Cathedral 4-1 and Cold Spring Rocori 4.5 to .5 Sept. 27 at St. Cloud's Granite Bowl. The Warriors averaged 192 against Cathedral and 201 against Rocori. Brainerd had the high team game for all teams with 261.
Kayla Cartwright, Will Bassett and Dan Alfano led Brainerd with 100, 90, and 83.3 percent fills against Cathedral. Against Rocori Kim Carper, Alfano, Zach Hewitt, and Cartwright led the Warriors with 100, 90 and 83.3 fills. Carper had 25 of 31 possible strikes. Drew Mitchell had 5 of 6 fills.
Brainerd meets Sartell Saturday at Paul Bunyan Bowl in Brainerd.
